About Flagbell

Hi, I’m Frank. I build Flagbell.

I’ve designed and built software since 2007, mostly for other companies: web apps, online stores and the tools behind them. Flagbell started as the helpdesk for my own products. When you ask something in the chat, I’m the one who answers.

Why Flagbell

I run several products at the same time, each with its own site, its own email address and its own customers. I wanted one place for all of their questions, where every brand still answers in its own name and its own style.

I also wanted a helpdesk I could trust with personal data, and one that an AI agent could help with, without being able to do more than I can.

So I built a helpdesk for more than one brand.

Today Flagbell answers the chat on flagbell.com, waitlark.com, oftenflow.com and gatelamp.com, each in its own colors.

How I build it

  • Independent

    No investors and low fixed costs, so Flagbell can stay small, calm and focused on support for more than one brand.

  • Security first

    Passkeys, strict separation per workspace and email treated as data were there from the first version, before any extra.

  • Our own support first

    Every feature runs on our own products before it reaches yours. The chat in the corner of this page is Flagbell.

  • In the open

    What works today says “works today” on this site. What doesn’t yet, like the help center, says “in the works”.

What I made before

  • UptimeMateWebsite monitoring for uptime, speed and broken links. Acquired by HostPapa.
  • Selected ScreensAn archive of interface designs, with research on the patterns in them.
  • BricksDealA price tracker for LEGO fans in the Netherlands.
  • OftenflowAn AI retention agent for Shopify stores, in development. Its chat runs on Flagbell.
  • WaitlarkBranded waitlists for product launches. Flagbell’s own waitlist runs on it.
